Another Firm Agrees to a Patent Settlement

 

An Additional firm agrees to settle and pay a license fee to access AGIS Software Development LLC’s patent portfolio.

JUPITER, FL, US, December 15, 2021 — AGIS Software Development LLC located in Marshall, TX today announced that it has entered into an agreement      with a large firm to settle a patent infringement lawsuit brought by AGIS Software Development LLC.

Under the terms of the agreement, the firm will also receive a license to access AGIS Software Development LLC’s patent portfolio.  In a previous infringement settlement, WhatsApp agreed to settle, and Facebook granted AGIS the re rightto two of Facebook’s patents. Mr. Beyer continued that AGIS Software Development LLC has also successfully settled  patent infringement lawsuits with 8 large firms and continues to explore licensing arrangements with other firms for AGIS Software Development LLC ‘s patent portfolio, which includes 23 U.S. Patents concerning Smartphone data communications and situational awareness. “We will continue to defend our patents against infringement actions from all firms, large or small.”

Additional details regarding the terms of the settlement were not disclosed. “We are pleased to have settled the outstanding litigation. We anticipate others will settle in the coming months” said Cap Beyer, CEO.
